Transaction and Operator Fees
- Maybank SMS+ Banking is a transaction-free service with terms and conditions.
- Every transaction made through Maybank SMS + Banking will be charged an SMS fee (by operator fee).
Transactions Limit
- Maybank Mobile banking transaction limits are the combined limit of Maybank ATM Card transactions.
- The limit of transfer transactions to other banks is the combined limit of bank transfers via ATM, which is IDR 10 million / transaction and or IDR 25 million / day.
PIN and TIPS Secure Transactions
PIN Challenge
- Challenge PIN is one of the security applied for Maybank SMS + Banking financial transactions for Java Blackberry, UMB Banking and SMS m-Banking menus.
- The customer does not enter the full PIN during the transaction.
- Customers are only asked to enter a 2 digit PIN with a predetermined position
Example:
PIN Maybank SMS+ Banking Customer: 584231
PIN challenge : XAA <5th digit> <1st digit> Then PIN type is : XAA 35
- Keep the privacy of your PIN
- Delete the send message containing the PIN challenge after each transaction
