Terms & Conditions Halal Certification Process

The program is available to both existing Maybank Customers and New Maybank Customers.
How to obtain your halal certificate:

Make sure you already have an active Maybank Current Account/Current Account iB. If you do not have a Maybank product yet, simply open a Maybank Current Account/Current Account iB.

Contact your Relationship Manager (RM) or Business Financial Advisor (BFA), or visit the nearest Maybank branch.

Afterwards, Customer will be referred by the Relationship Manager (RM) or Business Financial Advisor (BFA) to a halal certification assistance institution for a consultation.
After completing the registration, the Customer will be contacted directly by an LPPOM halal certification advisor and will receive assistance throughout the certification process until the halal certificate is issued by BPJPH (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal). The Customer will also receive a guaranteed service level.
The average period is approximately 21-45 business days until the halal certificate is issued. The actual process may vary depending on document review, on-site audits, laboratory testing, and other relevant procedures.
Customers are responsible for paying the applicable halal certification and audit/examination fees in accordance with the terms and conditions of the halal certification assistance partner. These costs may consist of General Service Fees/Biaya Layanan Umum (BLU) and halal assistance fees.

Maybank acts as a referral channel for business owners seeking halal certification. The certification assistance process up until the issuance of Halal certificate is the responsibility of appointed halal certification assistance partner.
