Guaranteed Low Foreign Exchange Rate

You can make a claim for the foreign currency exchange difference provided by the Maybank Credit Card, if it is proven that there is a lower exchange rate on the same Maybank Visa Credit Card and on the same transaction day.

Claims for foreign exchange differences are made under the following conditions:

• Transactions being compared are retail purchases (excluding cash advances).
• The maximum claim for exchange differences can be made no later than 30 (thirty) days after the transaction is printed on the Maybank Credit Card billing statement.
• Claims are made by attaching proof of billing from another bank's Credit Card with the same principal and level (Visa Infinite) with the Maybank Credit Card used for the transaction.
• Comparison of transactions using credit cards from other banks must be made on the same day as transactions from the same card owner with transactions made using a Maybank Credit Card.
• Attach proof of billing from another bank informing a lower exchange rate than that given by Maybank in an email sent to customercare@maybank.co.id.
• If the results of the investigation prove that another bank provides a lower exchange rate, then the difference in exchange rates according to Maybank's calculations will be credited in the form of cashback to your Maybank Credit Card, no later than 30 (thirty) days after the claim was made.
• At the time of cashback crediting, the Maybank Credit Card owned must be active, no blocking, no over limit, and no late payments.
