Program

Together with Maybank Foundation, we carry out a number of programs in the fields of education, community empowerment, arts and culture etc. The programs included :

Maybank Foundation Scholarship

Maybank Foundation Scholarship program has been running since 2012 and will end in mid 2018. This program provided full scholarships to 59 best students of Batch 1 and 2 who come from underprivileged families in 34 provinces in Indonesia. Maybank Foundation Scholarship consisted of 2 (two) full scholarship programs, namely undergraduate study in 16 domestic and foreign universities (Malaysia and Singapore).

The scholarships include education fees each semester, monthly living expenses, laptops, book and internet allowances every semester and health insurance every year. In addition, there are also mentoring programs by Maybank Indonesia employees during the preparation period for studying in universities, including soft skills training and behavioral competency improvement. Until the end of 2017, all scholarship grantees of Batch 1 had completed their education and 40% had graduated with cum laude.
