Maybank MultiCurrency Current Account iB is a Saving Account based on a mudharabah mutlaqah contract with several currencies.
Mudharabah Mutalqah is a contract in which a fund investment transaction is from the owner of the funds (shahibul maal)/customer to the fund manager (mudharib)/bank which is not limited by type of business, period (time) and/or place of business.

Customers can have several currencies at the same time with only one account opening process. There are 7 foreign currencies, which are:
- USD ( United States Dollar)
- SGD (Singapore Dollar)
- AUD (Australian Dollar)
- GBP (British Pound sterling)
- EUR (Euro)
- JPY (Japanese Yen)
- CNH (Chinese Yuan)
Account Opening Conditions
- A minimum initial deposit of USD100 for USD accounts, while for other currencies the initial deposit is free
- Completing documents such as photocopies of valid KTP/passport and KITAS/KITAP and show the original documents
- Documents for the company must attach the required company documents such as when open a current account
Account Conditions
- Apart from USD currency, there is no initial deposit.
- Account administration fees and fees below the minimum balance will be debited in USD currency. If the available balance is insufficient, it will be taken from another currency according to the currency hierarchy in the multicurrency account.
- Account status will apply to all currencies.
