Unaccepted Transaction
In case there is transaction billing to your Credit Card, but you feel not make such transaction, you must report to Maybank Card Center. Declaration not make such transaction shall be drawn up in writing and delivered not later than 30 days as of billing date. You must enclose photocopy of billing statement, Resident Identity Card /Passport and your Maybank Credit Card.

Procedure of Closing of Maybank Credit Card

If the validity of the credit card will expire, the Maybank Card Center shall automatically extend your credit card. If Maybank decides to close credit card, you may contact Customer Care at at 69811 via mobile telephone or 500611. Make sure all liabilities in your card have been settled. Card closing process will be made within the period not later than 3 (three) working days as of acceptance of request of closing or date of acceptance of all liabilities.

Cash Advance

Cash advance limit for Maybank Credit Card Holder is in the amount of 60% of total credit ceiling. You are subjected to Administrative costs of 4% of cash advance amount or at least Rp60.000,- and cash advance interest rate of 2,95% is effective as of date of cash advance until billing date.

Interest Counting Method

Finance Charge

If Maybank credit card holder fails to make payment of the billing entirely or delay in making payment, so he/she is subjected to finance charge. The Financial charge shall be adjusted with the interest rate prevails at Maybank (2,95% per month). The minimum payment shall be of 10% of total billing or minimum Rp.75.000,- (whichever is bigger).

Example of Interest count

If Maybank credit card holder has the following data:

Billing cycle : date 10
Transaction date:  : 15/05
Date booked by Maybank: : 20/05
Total Transaction:  : Rp100.000,-
Interest rate per month:  : 2,25%
Annual Interest rate : : 26,95%
Payment Period:  : 16 days
Due date:  : 25/05

Remarks: This example applies to the Maybank Credit Card holder who only makes 1 transaction. The amount of interest rate and charges are only example, it subject to change according to Bank’s policy, but the counting method remains the same.

 
Example 1
Full payment on due date.
The Maybank Credit Card holder is not bearing interest.
 
Example 2
Full payment on 01/06, after due date.
The Interest count is as follows:
  1. The Maybank Credit Card Holder is charged delay costs of Rp75.000,-
  2. Provisional Interest = 20/04 through 10/05 that is 21 days of Rp100.000,- = Rp2.037,-
  3. Anticipated Interest 1 = 11/05 through 01/06 that is 21 days.
    21/365 x 35,40% x Rp100.000,- = Rp2.037,-
Conclusion:
Total payable are:
  1. Delay charge                     Rp 75.000,-
  2. Financial Charge
          -  Provisional Interest      Rp   2.037,-
          -   Anticipated Interest 1  Rp   2.037,-
                                           ----------------
         Total                                  Rp 79.074,-
 
Example 3
The Maybank Credit Card holder fails to make payment at all.
 
Interest Count:
  1. Delay charge is amounting to           Rp75.000,-
  2. Provisional Charge = 20/04 through 10/05 that is 21 days from Rp100.000,-
    21/365 x 35,40% x Rp100.000,- = Rp2.037,-
  3. Anticipated Interest 1 = 11/05 through 10/06 that is 31 days
    31/365 x 35,40% x Rp100.000,- = Rp3.006,-
 
Conclusion:
Total payable is as follows:
1.     Your transaction amount     Rp 100.000,-
2.     Delay Charge                      Rp   75.000,-
3.     Financial Charge:
           -Provisional Interest       Rp     2.037,-
           -  Anticipated Interest 1   Rp     3.006,-
                                            ------------------
          Total                                Rp 180.043,-
 
 
Example 4
Minimum payment on 01/06, after due date is in the amount of Rp50.000,-
Interest Count:
  1. Delay charge is amounting to Rp75.000,-
  2. Provisional Interest = 20/04 through 10/05 that is 21 days from Rp100.000,-
    21/365 x 35,40% x Rp100.000,- = Rp2.037,-
  3. Anticipated Interest 1 = 11/05 through 01/06 that is 21 days
    21/365 x 35,40% x Rp100.000,- = Rp 2.037,-
  4. Anticipated Interest 2 = 02/06 through 01/06 that is 9 days
     9/365 x 35,40% x (Rp100.000,- - Rp50.000,-) = Rp436,--
 
 
Conclusion:
Total Payable is as follows:
1.     Your remaining payment          Rp  50.000,-
2.     Delay Charge                           Rp  75.000,-
3.     Financial Charge:
           -           Provisional Interest           Rp    2.037,-
           -           Anticipated Interest 1        Rp    2.037,-
           -           Anticipated Interest 2        Rp       436,-                                   
                                                 -----------------
               Total                                           Rp 129.510,-
 
Example 5
Payment below minimum payment prior to or on due date 26/05, is amounting to Rp30.000,-
 
Interest Count:
  1. The Maybank Credit Card holder will be imposed delay charge because he/she makes payment below minimum payment of Rp75.000,-
  2. Provisional Interest = 26/04 through 10/05 that is 21 days of Rp100.000,-
    21/365 x 35,40% x Rp100.000,- = Rp2.037,-
  3. Anticipated Interest 1 = 11/05 through 25/05 that is 15 days
    15/365 x 35,40% x Rp100.000,- = Rp1.552,-
  4. Anticipated Interest 2 = 26/05 through 10/06 that is 16 days
    16/365 x 35,40% x (Rp100.000,- - Rp30.000,-) = Rp1.018,-
 
Conclusion:
So, total payable is as follows:
1.     Your remaining payment             Rp   70.000,-
2.     Delay charge                              Rp   75.000,-
3.     Financial Charge:
          -           Provisional Interest               Rp     2.037,-
          -           Anticipated Interest 1            Rp     1.552,-
          -           Anticipated Interest 2            Rp     1.018,-
                                                    ------------------

Total                                             Rp   149.607,-
