Dear Customers,

Thank you for your placing your trust and choosing PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (“Maybank Indonesia”) as your banking partner.

As part of our commitment to always prioritizing security and convenience in transactions for all our customers, we hereby inform you that effective 1 October 2025, there will be changes to the Terms and Conditions for Savings Accounts. These changes relate to the provisions of the Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) and Personal Data Protection.

The following is a summary of the changes to the Terms and Conditions for Savings Accounts that will apply.

Banks are participants in Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS) guarantee program.

Customers acknowledge and understand:

  1. That deposits/fund placements in Banks, both conventional and those using Sharia Principles, are guaranteed by LPS in accordance with the provisions stipulated by LPS.
  2. That Customers deposits/fund placements are guaranteed by LPS, with a maximum deposit value guaranteed by LPS per Customers per Bank of IDR2 billion.
  3. That claims for the placement of funds will not be paid/replaced if the interest rate on the deposits placed by the Customers does not comply with the guarantee provisions stipulated by LPS in the event that the Bank's business license is revoked.

Personal Data Protection

Not available

  1. All data, information, and/or documents provided by the Customers to the Bank for the purpose of providing the Bank's banking products and services ("Purpose") are true, accurate, and up-to-date, as per the original (if provided in copy form). If any changes occur to the data and/or documents, the Customers is required to notify the Bank in writing and/or verbally, along with supporting data/documents. If the data/information and/or documents provided by the Customers are inaccurate, the Bank is not responsible for any consequences arising from the provision of such data/information and/or documents.
  2. Customers agrees and authorizes the Bank to use, manage, disclose, or conduct inspections/verifications of all data, information and documents received by Bank regarding the Customers, including but not limited to personal data, transactions, status, and collectability.
  3. If there is data, information and/or documents belonging to another party that are provided or submitted by the Customers to Bank, the Customers states and guarantees that he has obtained legal consent from the other party to provide the data, information and/or documents to the Bank to be used for the period required in connection with the implementation of the Purpose and the Bank will store the data, information and/or documents belonging to the other party in accordance with the data security standards applicable to Bank. The Customer understands that the Bank processes Personal Data and applies the principle of protecting Personal Data in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection including its amendments from time to time (hereinafter referred to as the PDP Law) and its implementing regulations, including the Financial Services Authority Regulation issued in the future. Customers can read a summary of the Bank's Personal Data processing policy in the Bank's Privacy Notice which can be accessed at any time on the Bank's website: www.maybank.co.id on the Security and Privacy page. The Bank will update the Privacy Notice from time to time in accordance with Bank's policies and/or to fulfill the Bank's obligations to applicable laws and regulations. Customers declares that he has read and understood the Bank's explanation regarding the processing of Personal Data and agrees that the definition of Personal Data used in these Terms and Conditions is as referred to in the PDP Law and gives his consent to the Bank for the Bank to process Personal Data in connection with the implementation of the Purpose.
  4. If at a later date, for one reason or another, Bank provides Personal Data belonging to an authorized party representing the Bank to Customesr, the Customer agrees and understands that the Customer will apply the principles of Personal Data protection in accordance with the PDP Law. The Customers is willing to be responsible if he provides Personal Data originating from Bank to another party.
