Murottal Competition between Mosques 2021 with Maybank Syariah

Every Muslim certainly wants to recite the recitation of the holy verses of the Qur'an properly in accordance with tartil and tajwid. Listening to the holy verses of the Qur'an which read tartly and correctly, commonly called murottal, will bring peace of mind for those who listen. To increase motivation in reading the Al-Quran and Ukhuwwah Islamiyah, Maybank Syariah invites fellow male and female of Mosque representatives to take part in a virtual murottal competition from 8th October - 1st November 2021.

Participant Terms & Conditions
- Category of participants: Male & Female Mosque Representatives.
- Participants are not employees of Maybank Indonesia Group Companies (permanent, contract, outsourcing).
- Age 20 years – ≤ 45 years old.
Prize Winner Information
Total prize worth IDR25,000,000, Trophy and Certificate.
- Man & Woman 1st Place Prize: Coaching Fund IDR5,000,000
- Man & Woman 2nd Place Prize: Coaching Fund IDR3,000,000
- Man & Woman Prize for 3rd Place for : IDR2,000,000 coaching fund
- 1st Prize Winner: Coaching Fund of IDR1,500,000
- 2nd Prize Winner: Coaching Fund IDR1,000,000
- 3rd Prize Winner: Coaching Fund IDR750,000
- The source of the fund is from the Benevolent Fund which managed by Maybank Indonesia Shariah Business Unit.
- The fund will be credited maximum 30 working days to the winner's account registered at Maybank system.

Registration Flow
- Participants must have Maybank iB Savings Account. If the Participant does not have it so, Customer has to open a Maybank U iB Savings Account/ Maybank MAKSI iB Savings Account via M2U ID App, input the referral code (Mosque ID) obtained from the Mosque DKM which has collaborated with Maybank Syariah. After opening an account, Participants make a deposit of min. IDR200,000 to Maybank U iB Savings Account/ Maybank MAKSI iB Savings Account which has been successfully opened.

click here - Participants must fill out a validation form from the Mosque as evidence of a representative from the Mosque accompanied by the signature of the administrator & the Mosque's DKM stamp. Download the form
here - Participants upload the competition video to Youtube in landscape format (Horizontal).
- One (1) Participant can only submit 1 (one) murottal recording.
- Participants send information: Youtube link, validation form, scanned ID card via email (<1MB) to SyariahNews@maybank.co.id with subject: Participant Name_Name of Mosque_Murotal Competition.
- One email subject represents 1 Participant.
Registration Terms & Conditions
- Participants are not charged for registration fee.
- Participants are welcome from Mosques that have collaborated with Maybank Syariah through the Blessing Mosque Program. For information on the Blessing Mosque Program click here
- Participants may be an Imam/ Muezzin/ Mosque Youth/ DKM Member/ Congregation representing the Mosque.
- The quota of Participant representatives for each Mosque is a maximum of 10 people.
- For Mosques that are not yet partners of Maybank Indonesia and wish to participate in this competition, kindly visit the nearest Maybank Branch or email to SyariahNews@maybank.co.id with the subject : List of Mosques for the Blessing Mosque Program.
Competition Deadline and Video Submission Mechanism

- Registration: October 8th – November 1st 2021 or if the quota has been met (maximum quota: 300 participants)
- Video result evaluation: November 2nd – 5th 2021
- Announcement of Grand Finalists : November 7th 2021
- Grand Final Event : November 8th , 2021
- Peak Event & Winner Announcement : November 11th 2021

- Participants can only collect 1 video, by reading one of the following verses:

- Participants upload the competition video to Youtube in landscape format (Horizontal)

- Write on video description with details as follows:
- Participant name
- Name of Mosque
- Letters and Verses to be read

- Participant sends information on Youtube links, form validation, ID card scans via email (<1MB) to SyariahNews@maybank.co.id with the subject : Participant Name_Name of Mosque_Murotal Competition
- Participant in the video is required to wear polite and closed clothes.
- The uploaded video must be original. Participant is not allowed to edit and/or touch up using the application.
- Videos is produced during the competition period.
- The video does not contain copyrighted material belonging to other parties.
- The collected videos have never been contested.
- Maybank Syariah has the right to use all videos in the competition process as material for syi'ar and da'wah.
