ANNOUNCEMENT
Dear Customers,
With the issuance of Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, PMK No. 136 Tahun 2023 concerning Amendments to Minister of Finance Regulation PMK No. 112/PMK.03/2022 regarding Taxpayer Identification Numbers (NPWP) for Individual, Corporate and Government Agency Taxpayers, which essentially regulates the following:

Individual Taxpayers who are Residents (in this case Indonesian Citizens and Foreign Citizens with Resident Identity Card) shall use the Resident Identification Number (NIK) as their Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP).

Therefore, as of 1st July 2024, the new NPWP format will be applied comprehensively to tax administration services. For that reason, in order to comply with the applicable tax regulations above, Maybank Indonesia requests every Customer to:
- To immediately validate / pair the NIK - NPWP independently (via the website djponline.pajak.go.id, or via the Kring Pajak Service 1500200, or via the registered Tax Service Office/KPP) no later than 30th June 2024.
- Henceforth, Customers are also encouraged to update Taxpayer Identification Number/NPWP recorded at Maybank Indonesia through the nearest Branch Office, or Maybank Customer Care email at customercare@maybank.co.id, or M2U ID App/Web. Requirements for updating Taxpayer Identification Number/NPWP at Maybank Indonesia are subject to applicable Bank policies
You are required to update your NIK-NPWP as validated by Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) to Maybank Indonesia no later than 1st July 2024. Should your update of NIK-NPWP is not yet received by Maybank Indonesia by the time as per stated above, the Bank will then use the valid data from DJP to update your 16 Digits Taxpayer Identification Number/NPWP data.
