Terms and Conditions for the Halal Certificate Process

1. This program applies to Maybank Customers
2. Obtaining the Halal certification:
   1. Open a Maybank iB Savings account.

   2. Contact your Relationship Manager (RM) or Business Financial Advisor (BFA) , or visit the nearest Maybank branch.

   3. You will be assisted by the Relationship Manager (RM) or Business Financial Advisor (BFA) to register your business through LPPOM’s official portal.
   4. Upon completing registration, Customers will be directly contacted by a facilitator from LPPOM to be guided through entire Halal facilitation process until certification is issued by BPJPH (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal)
   5. Halal facilitation up to certificate issuance process takes between 21 to 45 working days, depending on the complication of document verification, Halal audit, laboratory tests, and other procedures.
   6. Customers pay for certification and Halal audit/inspection fees directly to LPPOM, in accordance to the applicable regulations. Fees consist of General Service Fee (Biaya Layanan Umum) and Halal consultancy fees, which amount is determined by LPPOM.
   7. 10% discount applies to certification fees, including:
      • Inspection Fee
      • Operational Fee
      • Technical Support Fee
      • Pre-Assessment Fee
      • Audit Fee
      • Laboratory Testing Fee
3. The 10% discount does not apply to the following components:
   1. BPJPH (Halal Product Guarantee Agency) Registration Fee - still paid at the BPJPH stipulation regarding business size.
   2. Halal Supervisor Training & Competency Test Fee - if the business requires Halal Supervisor training.
4. Maybank acts solely as a referral partner by channeling Halal Certification applicants to LPPOM. The certification process and issuance of the Halal Certificate are under the responsibility of LPPOM.
5. PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk reserves the right to cancel, postpone, extend, or terminate this program; to vary, remove, or add any terms and conditions at its sole discretion, with prior notice in accordance with applicable regulations, as announced at www.maybank.co.id
6. PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk also reserves the right, at any time and at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Customer proven or suspected of committing fraud, violating applicable laws and regulations, or engaging in any intentional manipulation related to the program.
