In response to the latest developments over the COVID-19 virus in Indonesia, Maybank Indonesia has implemented preventive measures in efforts to minimize the potential spread of the virus and to prioritize safety and health in the workplaces for employees, customers, business partners and the general public.
As directed by the government, Maybank Indonesia has implemented split operations where employees canmay carry out work from two different locations for critical business function units and for others can work from home. In addition, Maybank Indonesia also optimizes the use of technology to support work and reduces direct contact, including organizing meetings using technology media, and temporarily suspending events.
In relations to health and safety at workplace, Maybank Indonesia conducts routine sanitation on branch offices and work areas, provides hand sanitizers at the office and at every entrances to the workplace, conducts body temperature screening upon entering workplace ensuring employees and customers are not experiencing any fever as well as provide employees with up-to-date information and education regarding preventive measures and mitigating to potential spread of virus on individual level.
For frontline employees, they have been equipped with personal protection equipment so that services to customers remain safe. Maybank Indonesia also monitor all employees for possible risk of exposure to COVID-19 virus to which must require the person to be in Self-Isolation for a period of 14-day.
All preventive measures that have been implemented by Maybank Indonesia on its operation, employees and customers are part of the efforts to ensure customer service and Bank operations to run normally. Furthermore, this preventive measure is expected to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus within the Bank’s work environment and its surroundings.
