How to activate Secure2u?

To activate Secure2u, please follow this guide :

What is the number of digits of the passcode rules for Secure2u passcode?

The passcode must consist of 5 – 8 digit numbers and make sure not to use the same number repeatedly (e.g: 11111) and consecutive numbers (e.g: 12345).

Why haven't I received an e-mail to complete my Secure2u registration?

Make sure your registered email is active. If your email (that registered when opening savings account) is unactive, then when the step of “send activation link to your email”, you should click “Update e-mail” and input your active email to receive your Secure2U activation link.

How can I activate Secure2u if my e-mail is changed?

You must use your active email to activate Secure2u. If your previously registered email when opening savings account is inactive, then when the step of “send activation link to your email”, you should click “Update e-mail” and input your active email to receive your Secure2u activation link.

Can I use Secure2u if my e-mail is inactive?

You must update your e-mail first while activating Secure2u or in the Customer Profile Update feature on M2U ID App settings.

What if Secure2u can’t be activated/registered?

You can try to login to M2U ID App with another device, if the reqistration is completed, you can re-register your main mobile device to M2U ID App

How to deactivate Secure2u?

If Secure2u already activated, Customer can deactivate it by clicking menu – setting – my device – choose device that connected with Secure2u- turn off the green toggle

What if I entered the wrong Secure2u passcode up to 3 times in a row and my user id locked?

User ID on M2U ID App will be automatically locked if you have entered the incorrect passcode up to 3 times. You can unlock your User ID by clicking the question mark icon on the upper right corner of your Log In screen and click “Unlock User ID/ TAC”. How to guide M2U ID App/M2U ID Web. click here

What if after my Secure2u has been successfully activated, I still get a pop up notification to activate Secure2u?

The pop up notification appears as a reminder that your Secure2u activation process is not fully completed. Make sure to click the link provided on the e-mail verification. If you’re still unable to use your Secure2u, you can re-activate Secure2u through Forgot Secure2u Passcode feature.

What if during activation I can't activate more than 5 digit passcode?

Re-login to your M2U ID App and repeat you’re Secure2u activation.

What if I get the error message “This site can’t be reached?” when I clicking the link provided on the verification e-mail?

You can access your verification e-mail through other device and then re-click the link provided to continue Secure2u activation.

Can I use Secure2u if I’m not in Indonesia?

You can still use Secure2u even if you are not in Indonesia. When you activate Secure2u for the first time, you will be sent a TAC to your phone number, make sure that your phone number is still valid and active.

Can I use Secure2u on multiple devices?

Secure2u feature can only be connected to 1 device. If you need to change the registered device, you need to log in to M2U ID App and activate your Secure2u on new device. Secure2u on your previous device will be automatically deactivated once you have successfully activated it on the new device.

.What If I still received TAC message even though I have successfully register my Secure2u?

Make sure to fully complete your Secure2u activation, including clicking the link provided on the e-mail verification. If you’re still unable to use your Secure2u, you can re-activate Secure2u through Forgot Secure2u Passcode feature.

Can I use Secure2u if I haven’t done my e-mail verification?

You need to verify Secure2u activation by clicking the link in the verification email and make sure to access the latest email you received.

Can I use Secure2u to verify my transaction on M2U ID Web?

Transaction verification on M2U ID Web use Secure2u is only available on M2U ID App.
