  • Mechanism for transactions conversion into 0%  installments:
    • Maybank Credit Cardholders make transactions at merchants that partnership with Maybank.
    • Maybank Credit Cardholders choose the installment feature at the time of payment.
    • The transaction recorded by the merchant at that time was an installment transaction, but the transaction recorded in the Maybank Credit Card system was a full payment transaction (full amount).
    • The merchant will send installment transaction data to Maybank maximum at H + 3 from the date the transaction is made.
    • Based on transaction data from merchants, Maybank will change the full payment transaction recorded in the Maybank system to installment transactions, maximum at H + 7 from the date the transaction is made.

      If the billing statement print out date of your Maybank Credit Card is within the time frame of the change, then you will see that the transaction in the billing statement has not been changed to installments. Illustration as follows:
