Referring to the previous announcement on 26 June 2023 regarding to the Adjustment of Proof of Ownership for Retail/Individual Customers, we hereby inform you that the Adjustment of Proof of Ownership for Retail/Individual Customers both Conventional and Sharia, will become effective as of 1 September 2023.

Proof of ownership adjustment is as follows:

Additional Information:

  • Consolidated Statement is the combination of entire Customer’s portfolio that include assets and/or liabilities or borrowings/financing.
  • Customers are not charged for the Consolidated Statement sent via email.
  • Customers can receive a Consolidated Statement in the form of e-statement sent via email on the 10th of every month which can be viewed/downloaded via M2U ID App.
  • If the Customer is previously using paper statement/delivered to Customer’s address, paper statement will still be delivered with the charges of paper statement delivery following the applicable provisions, however it is advised that Customer to update the current email address and switch to using e-statement moving forward.

Ensure your data in Maybank system is up-to-date to be able to receive Consolidated Statement sent via email.

  • M2U ID App (Mobile Banking); or

  • Visit nearest Maybank Branch Office.
