Maybank Indonesia Held Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting
Approval for the Changes to the Board of Directors' Composition

 

Jakarta, 28 September 2022 – PT Bank Maybank Indonesia, Tbk. ("Maybank Indonesia or the Bank") today held its Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders ("EGMS”) at Maybank Indonesia Head Office in Senayan, Jakarta.

The EGMS approved the appointment Bambang A. Irawan as Director of Maybank Indonesia effective after concluding the EGMS and after obtaining approval from the Regulator, until concluding the Bank’s AGMS in 2025.

President Director Maybank Indonesia, Taswin Zakaria, commented on the appointment of Bambang A. Irawan as Director for Information Technology. He said, "The appointment of Director for Information Technology is part of Maybank Indonesia's continued strategy to strengthen the Bank's IT infrastructure and resilience, ensuring optimum services delivery to our customers in today's digital era. With more than 21 years of work experience in Information Technology, Bambang A. Irawan as the appointed member of the Board of Directors, will be able to support Maybank Indonesia's ongoing operations, particularly in technology and flow of information, in line with the Bank's mission, Humanising Financial Services."
