Why should use Credit Card PIN?

Maybank Credit Card PIN Request

After successfully activating your Maybank Credit Card, you can request your Maybank Credit Card PIN as follows:

1. Send an SMS to 89811

1)  Use the following SMS format:

     PIN <space> CC <space> Last 8 digits of your Maybank Credit Card from the mobile number registered in Maybank’s system.

     Example: PIN CC 87654321

2)  You will receive a reply from Maybank regarding your PIN request

2. Contact Maybank Customer Care at 1500611 or +62 21 78869811 (from overseas)

3. Send an email to customercare@maybank.co.id using the following format:

• Email subject: Credit Card & PIN Activation
• Maybank Credit Card Holder Name:
• Maybank Credit Card Number:

4. Once your credit card PIN has been successfully created, your Maybank Credit Card is ready for use.

Maybank Credit Card PIN Change

Change your Maybank Credit Card PIN periodically to maintain transaction security and convenience. Never disclose your PIN to anyone, including those claiming to represent the Bank, and remain alert to any potential fraud attempts.

Here is a guide on how to change your Maybank Credit Card PIN:

1. Via M2U ID App (mobile banking)

• Log in to the M2U ID App
• On the account overview screen, tap the menu icon at the top left corner
• Tap the Settings icon
• Select the ‘Login Settings’ menu
• Select ‘Change Password’
• Enter your current password, then input your new password and confirm it. To view the password requirements, tap ‘Notes?’ at the bottom of the screen
• Tap ‘Confirm & Transact’
• On the Secure2u screen, enter your Secure2u Passcode and tap ‘OK’
• Your password has been successfully changed
  
   

2. Contact Maybank Customer Care at 1500611 or +62 21 78869811 (from overseas) and follow these steps:

• Press 1 for Indonesian or 2 for English
• Press 5 for Data and PIN Change Requests
• Press 2 for Credit Card PIN Change
• Enter your 16-digit card number followed by an asterisk, e.g., 123456783456*
• Enter the cardholder’s 8-digit date of birth followed by an asterisk, e.g., 01011990*
• Enter your 6-digit current PIN followed by an asterisk, e.g., 123456*
• Enter your 6-digit new PIN followed by an asterisk, e.g., 456789*
• Confirm your 6-digit new PIN and end with an asterisk, e.g., 456789*
  
   

3. Visit a Maybank ATM and follow these steps:

• Insert your Maybank Credit Card and select LANGUAGE
• Enter your current PIN and press OK
• Select OTHER TRANSACTIONS
• Select SETUP/CHANGE PIN
• Enter your CURRENT PIN
• Select CARD PIN
• Enter your NEW PIN
• Re-enter your NEW PIN
• Transaction complete
