In accordance with Bank Indonesia regulations, effective 1^st July 2020, all credit card transactions are required to use PIN for verification. Always use the 6-digits of Maybank Credit Cards PIN for secure transactions.

Why should use Credit Card PIN?

Maybank Credit Card PIN Activation

If the Maybank Credit Card activation has been successful, to get a Maybank Credit Card PIN can do one of the following:

1. Via SMS

1) SMS to 89811 with the format:
     PIN KK Last 8 Digits Maybank Credit Card. Use the mobile number registered in Maybank System.
     Example: PIN KK 87654321

2)  You will get a reply to the PIN request as follows:
      Thank you for your trust in using the Maybank Credit Card. We are currently processing your Maybank Credit Card PIN request.

3) Your Maybank Credit Card PIN has been successful, you will receive an SMS from Maybank in the form of:
      Your Maybank Credit Card PIN 123456******3456 is 012345. Keep it confidential & change your preferred PIN at 1500611 press menu #5, then #2. Info                                  bit.ly/MBIPIN

2. Contact Maybank Customer Care at 1500611.

3. Send an email to customercare@maybank.co.id by informing:

• Subject Email: Credit Card Activation & PIN
• Cardholder Name:
• Maybank Credit Card Number:

4. Visit a Maybank branch
     Show your identity card and physical Maybank credit card to the branch officer.

Remarks:

1. PIN requests via SMS cannot be processed if there are conditions:
   1. Maybank Credit Card is not active yet
   2. Maybank Credit Card is blocked
   3. Maybank Credit Card has expired
   4. Maybank Credit Card numbers do not match
   5. The mobile number is not registered in Maybank Credit Card system.
      Only the mobile number of Main Credit Card Holder can be used for PIN requests via SMS.   
2. If PIN request via SMS cannot be processed, immediately contact Maybank Customer Care at 1500611 to get a PIN.
3. Maybank Credit Card PIN that have been received can be used immediately. If you want to change your Maybank Credit Card PIN, it can be done through the nearest Maybank ATM.
4. Your Maybank Credit Card PIN can be delivered via SMS / e-mail as registered in the Maybank Credit Card system.
5. If there is a change in your personal data, immediately update the data through Maybank Customer Care.

Maybank Credit Card PIN Change

For Maybank Credit Cardholder who have activated credit card and have a PIN, change your Maybank Credit Card PIN regularly with the following ways:
1. Maybank Customer Care at 1500611, with the following steps:

• Contact 1500611
• Press 1 to select Indonesian or Press 2 to select English
• Press 5, Request for change of data and PIN
• Press 2, Change Credit Card PIN
• Enter the 16-digit card number and end with an asterisk, for example: 123456783456*
• Enter 8 digits of the cardholder's date of birth and end with an asterisk, for example: 01011990*
• Enter the old 6-digit pin and end with an asterisk, for example: 123456*
• Enter a new 6-digit pin and end with an asterisk, for example: 456789*
• Confirm the new 6-digit pin and end with an asterisk, for example: 456789*

2. Maybank ATM, with the following steps:

• Enter your Maybank Credit Card and Select LANGUAGE
• Enter your old PIN and press OK
• Select OTHER TRANSACTION
• Choose CHANGE PIN
• Enter your OLD PIN
• Select CARD PIN
• Enter your NEW PIN
• Re-enter your NEW PIN
• Transaction Complete
