1. IMPORTANT NOTICE
    1. The Terms and Conditions of the Maybank Marathon (“Terms and Conditions”) and other related regulations for the Maybank Marathon (“MM”) are made to ensure that PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (“Organizer”) has planned and organized the MM in accordance with the provisions set by the Indonesian National Athletics Association (PASI) and World Athletics.
    2. Every MM runner (“Runner”) must carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions and other related regulations before registering for the MM.
    3. By registering for the MM, the prospective Runner is deemed to have understood and agreed to the Terms and Conditions and other related regulations.
    4. The Organizer has the right to ask the prospective Runner to submit a doctor's health examination result if deemed necessary by the Organizer.
    5. The prospective Runner must ensure that they are in good health. The prospective Runner understands that they are responsible for their health condition from the start of the MM event until its completion.
    6. All registration fees submitted by the prospective Runner to the Organizer are non-refundable.
    7. The Organizer has the right to reject the registration of a prospective Runner and/or cancel the prospective Runner's participation if, based on the Organizer's judgment, the prospective Runner provides incorrect information about themselves, fails to make the required registration payment, and/or does not meet the requirements set by the Organizer.
  2. GENERAL REGISTRATION
    1. Prospective Runners must register for the MM through the official MM website: https://www.maybankmarathon2025.com (“Website”). All prospective Runners will receive a registration receipt for the MM after completing their registration. The registration receipt will be sent to the email address provided by the prospective Runner.
    2. If the prospective Runner does not receive the MM registration receipt within 5 (five) days after completing their registration, they can contact the Organizer via email at: info@run.id
    3. If the prospective Runner meets the criteria/requirements set by the Organizer to participate in the MM, the Organizer will send a participation confirmation email to the email address provided by the prospective Runner (“MM Participation Receipt”).
    4. The Organizer applies the principle of “You Register, You Run,” meaning that only the person whose name is registered with the Organizer is entitled to run in the MM. A person whose name is not registered is not entitled to run in the MM.
    5. The Organizer has the right to cancel a Runner’s participation and/or cancel the race results and the awarding of prizes if the Organizer finds that the information provided by the Runner is incorrect and/or the Runner fails to meet the requirements and conditions set by the Organizer.
    6. The collection of race shirts, race BIBs, and souvenirs (“Race Pack”) must be done by the Runner at the designated location and time set by the Organizer, showing the MM Participation Receipt email and the Runner’s identity card. The Race Pack cannot be collected by another person on behalf of the Runner.
  3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE EVENT
    1. Runners in the Marathon category must be 18 years of age or older. Runners in the Half Marathon category must be 17 years of age or older. Runners in the 10K category must be 15 years of age or older. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the age of Runners before, during, and after the MM event. Any exception to this requirement can only be made with the Organizer’s approval.
    2. The Organizer reserves the right to close registration once the runner quota is fully filled.
    3. Registration will be processed only after the registration payment has been completed.
    4. Transfer and/or sale of MM participation rights is not allowed. The Organizer has the right to cancel a Runner's status/participation if there are indications of such transfers or sales.
    5. The Organizer reserves the right to limit or reject the registration of a prospective Runner for any reason, including but not limited to a history of violations at other marathon events outside of MM.
    6. The Organizer reserves the right to contact and interview Runners via telephone or other means to collect necessary data in relation to MM registration. In this regard, prospective Runners are advised to exercise caution and verify the identity of the Organizer before providing any personal data. Information about the Organizer can be obtained from: info@maybankmarathon.com or info@run.id.
    7. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel the MM event in the event of circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, heavy rain, lightning, pandemics, riots, or any condition that the Organizer deems dangerous for the Runners.
    8. If the MM event is canceled due to reasons beyond the Organizer's control as mentioned above, the Organizer will not refund the registration fees and will not be held responsible or liable in any way.
    9. Runners must ensure they are in good and fit health to participate in the MM event. Each Runner is responsible for their own health condition, and by participating in MM, the Runner is deemed to have understood the risks involved. The Organizer will not be held responsible for any injury or death during or after the MM event suffered by Runners who do not meet the aforementioned health conditions, except in cases where the injury or death is proven to be due to the Organizer’s intentional negligence.
    10. The Organizer has the right to prohibit or disqualify any Runner known or suspected to be in unfit health to participate in the MM event. In cases where a Runner is injured during the event, and based on the recommendation of the medical personnel appointed by the Organizer, the Runner may be treated at a hospital designated by the Organizer. Treatment costs will be covered up to a maximum amount determined by the Organizer and the hospital, on the same day the MM is held.
    11. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify a Runner and/or cancel the MM event results if there is a violation or failure to comply with the rules set by World Athletics, PASI, or the MM Terms and Conditions. In such cases, registration fees will not be refunded.
  4. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
    1. All data, information, and/or documents provided by the Runner to the Organizer for participation in the MM (“Purpose”) are true, accurate, and current, and are authentic (if provided in copy form). If there are any changes to the data and/or documents, the Runner is required to notify the Organizer of such changes in writing and/or verbally, accompanied by supporting data/documents. If the data/information and/or documents provided by the Runner are incorrect, the Organizer shall not be held liable for any consequences arising from the submission of such data/information and/or documents.
    2. The Runner agrees and grants authority to the Organizer to use, manage, disclose, or conduct verification of the information to third parties working with or appointed by the Organizer, for all data, information, and documents received by the Organizer regarding the Runner, including but not limited to personal data.
    3. If there is any data, information, and/or documents belonging to another party submitted by the Runner to the Organizer, the Runner declares and guarantees that they have lawfully obtained the consent of said party to provide such data, information, and/or documents to the Organizer, which may be used during the necessary period in relation to the Purpose. The Organizer will store such third-party data, information, and/or documents in accordance with the data security standards applicable to the Organizer.

      The Runner understands that the Organizer processes Personal Data and applies the principles of Personal Data protection in accordance with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection, including its amendments from time to time (hereinafter referred to as the PDP Law) and its implementing regulations, including any other Regulations issued by the relevant Authorities in the future.

      Runners may read a summary of the Organizer’s Personal Data processing policy in the Privacy Notice, which is accessible at any time on the website click here The Organizer will update the Privacy Notice from time to time in accordance with its policies and/or to comply with applicable laws and regulations. The Runner acknowledges that they have read and understood the Organizer’s explanation regarding Personal Data processing and agrees that the definition of Personal Data used in this Registration is as stated in the PDP Law and consents to the Organizer processing their Personal Data in relation to the Purpose.
  5. MM EVENT RULES AND REGULATIONS
    1. MM participation registration and the Runner’s timing chip are non-transferable.
    2. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any Runner from the MM event who provides false data or information or is suspected of having consumed prohibited food, beverages, or drugs. In such cases, the Organizer is not obligated to refund the registration fee paid by the Runner.
    3. Runners who do not run at the designated time will not receive official MM event results.
    4. Runners must immediately stop participating in the MM event if instructed to do so by officials, medical personnel, the race director, referees, and/or security personnel/marshals.
    5. Pets and/or any wheeled transportation devices such as bicycles or wheelchairs (except wheelchairs and bicycles approved by the Organizer), skates, rollerblades, and similar items are prohibited on the MM race route.
    6. Runners are not allowed to run with babies, children under the age of 10, and/or any third parties who are not registered as official Runners.
    7. The Organizer will set cut-off times at specific locations known as checkpoints. Runners who fail to reach a checkpoint within the allotted time must stop participating in the MM and board the official transport provided by the Organizer. This transport will take the Runner to the finish line.
    8. The cut-off time (“COT”) for the Marathon category is 7 hours, for the Half Marathon is 3.5 hours, and for the 10K is 2 hours. All Runners must complete their respective races within the COT of their category. Runners who finish beyond the COT will not receive a medal (in any category) or a finisher shirt (for the Marathon category).
    9. Winners or potential winners of the race, or their representatives, may raise questions or objections within 30 minutes after results are announced or after prizes are awarded - whichever comes first.
    10. The Organizer reserves the right to conduct doping tests on Runners. The Organizer also reserves the right to disqualify any Runner who is proven to have committed a doping violation.
  6. RACE ROUTE
    1. The determination of the MM event location and the race route is the sole discretion of the Organizer. The Organizer has the right to change the event location and race route with prior notice to the Runners. In the event of a route change, the Organizer is not responsible for refunding the registration fee or any other expenses incurred by the Runner.
    2. Any Runner who (i) fails to follow the instructions or orders of the race officials, security officers, or marshals (“Officials”), (ii) engages in unsportsmanlike conduct, or (iii) insults or uses violence, either physical or verbal, against Officials, may be disqualified from the race by the Officials.
    3. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Runner who does not follow the race route set by the Organizer.
    4. Any Runner participating in MM without using the official BIB number or timing chip assigned to them may be stopped and disqualified from the MM event. The Runner is required to wear the BIB number on the front of their shirt.
    5. No one is allowed on the race route except those who are registered or approved by the Organizer. Therefore, no one is allowed to accompany a Runner unless they are registered in the MM event or have received permission from the Organizer.
    6. Medical assistance provided by the official MM medical personnel will not be considered as assistance that results in the disqualification of the Runner from the MM event. If a Runner is in an unhealthy condition during or after the MM event and/or receives medical assistance from the official MM medical personnel, the Runner must provide honest and detailed health information to the Organizer or authorized personnel designated by the Organizer.
  7. TIMING CHIP AND BIB NUMBER
    1. All Runners will receive a timing chip. Runners are required to wear the timing chip according to the instructions/guidelines set by the Organizer.
    2. The gun time is the standard for the start of the time calculation used to determine the winner and the main prizes.
    3. The Runner’s time record (net time) will be determined by the timing chip from the moment the Runner crosses the starting line until they cross the finish line.
    4. Runners are required to wear the timing chip from the starting line until they cross the finish line.
    5. Runners using more than one timing chip will be disqualified, and their time will not be recorded.
    6. Runners who lose their timing chip will be disqualified.
    7. Runners must start the race after the designated start time.
    8. Runners must wear the BIB/number tag.
    9. In certain cases, due to technical errors, the timing chip may not be detected, and as a result, the Runner will not have a recorded time. If this occurs, the Organizer has the right to inspect the validity of the condition.
  8. CASH PRIZES
    1. The winner of the MM event will be determined by the fastest gun time, not the net time.
    2. The term "Category" refers to Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, Wheelchair, and Children Sprint. The term "Class" refers to Open, National, and National Master. Prizes will be awarded to the male and female winners in each Category and Class.
    3. The announcement and awarding of prizes on the podium will be made to the first, second, and third place winners.
    4. Only the winners of the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, Wheelchair, and Children Sprint Categories are eligible for prizes.
    5. Prizes will be awarded in Rupiah and are subject to taxes and deductions in accordance with applicable regulations.
    6. The Organizer reserves the right to conduct a doping test on the Runner according to PASI's recommendations. Prizes will only be awarded after the winner has completed the doping test requested by the Organizer, and the prizes will be given once the doping test results are issued by PASI. If the doping test results show that the Runner tested positive for doping, the title of winner will be revoked and given to the next fastest time holder in the same Category.
    7. A Runner is only eligible to win in 1 (one) Category and 1 (one) Class. If a Runner wins in more than 1 Class, they will only be entitled to the largest prize and the winner’s title in 1 (one) Category and 1 (one) Class. The position of the winner in other Classes that are forfeited will be awarded to the next fastest time holder in that Category and Class.
    8. The prize for the winner of the Open Class may be awarded to Foreign Nationals (WNA), Indonesian Nationals (WNI), or Indonesian Nationals (WNI) aged 40 years or older.
    9. The prize for the winner of the National Class may be awarded to Indonesian Nationals (WNI) or Indonesian Nationals (WNI) aged 40 years or older.
    10. The prize for the winner of the National Master Class will only be awarded to Indonesian Nationals (WNI) aged 40 years or older.
  9. BAGGAGE STORAGE FACILITY
    1. The Organizer will provide a baggage storage facility for the Runners. Runners are prohibited from storing valuables.
    2. The Organizer is not responsible for the loss of valuables stored in the baggage facility.
  10. PHOTOS AND DOCUMENTATION

    By participating in MM, the Runner gives consent to the Organizer to document the MM event in the form of photos and videos and understands that such documentation may be used by the Organizer for communication and publicity materials related to the MM event and similar events in the future.
  11. CHANGES/OBJECTIONS/ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
    1. The Organizer has the right to modify, add, or override the terms of MM. If changes are made to the MM terms, the Organizer will notify the Runners of these changes.
    2. The Runner will be bound by any changes, modifications, or additions to the terms set by the Organizer.
    3. Failure by the Runner to comply with the Terms and Conditions (including any changes) may result in disqualification and/or revocation of prizes and race results.
  12. RELEASE AND DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
    1. The Runner hereby waives, releases, and agrees not to hold the Organizer liable, and will indemnify the Organizer and all parties associated with the Organizer from any claims, actions, or damages that may arise in connection with the Runner’s registration or participation in MM.
    2. The Organizer, subsidiaries/branches, directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensees are not responsible for any immaterial losses, whether direct or indirect, including but not limited to the loss of potential profit, reputation, data, or any other intangible losses related to the MM event.
    3. Without prejudice to other provisions in the Terms and Conditions, the Runner agrees that if the Organizer is required to compensate for damages, the maximum amount of compensation to be provided by the Organizer will be the amount paid by the Runner to the Organizer.
